W.Va. State Fire Marshals looking for information in Berkeley County fire;
$5,000 reward offered

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – W.Va. State Fire Marshal’s Office investigators are asking for information from the public in regard to an arson fire that occurred last week at a Martinsburg townhouse.

WVSFMO investigators are in particular seeking information on the whereabouts of the occupants of the home.
At approximately 6:55 a.m. on January 27, firefighters responded to a fire at the townhouse, located on Quartz Road in Martinsburg.  Firefighters could not find the persons residing at the home.

WVSFMO investigators were called to the scene and ruled the fire’s cause to be incendiary in nature (arson).

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Arson Hotline at 1-800-233-FIRE (3473). A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to a conviction.
