The Fire Safety Inspection Division is mandated by Chapter 15A, Article 10 "Fire Prevention and Control Act" to conduct fire and life safety inspections in all types of occupancies except one and two family dwellings. The Inspections Division is looking forward to becoming fully digital in 2026.

Important Note: Pursuant to West Virginia law, a twenty-five dollar ($25) service charge will be assessed for any returned/dishonored payments.
