2022 Proposed Legislative Rules (Important)

Dear Fire Service Stakeholders:

This is an importance notice to make you aware of four Legislative Rules being proposed as an action to legislation that was passed in the 2021 Legislative session. Please review the following rules:

87CSR11 Fire Department Specialized Membership Rule

87CSR12 Fire Department Junior Firefighter Rule

87CSR13 Fire Department Certification of Fire Chiefs Rule

87CSR14 Use of Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) for Fire Training Purposes Rule

If you would like to make comments on any of these Rules, please send those comments either through the mail to: WV State Fire Commission, 1207 Quarrier St., 2nd Floor, Charleston WV 25301 or wvfirecommissioner@wv.gov

All comments must be filed and received by no later than July 26, 2021.
