We are excited to announce that the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office has officially launched our new, digital Home Safety Survey, and we are asking for your help to get it into the hands of your residents.
Our goal is to make it easier for West Virginians to identify home fire hazards and take proactive steps toward safety. This tool is designed to be a quick, five-minute assessment that provides immediate safety guidance to residents while helping us better understand fire safety trends across the state.
How your department can help:
- Share the link: Please include firemarshal.wv.gov and the home safety surveys QR code on your department’s website and social media pages.
- Promote locally: Share the survey during your community outreach events, school visits, and public demonstrations.
